I am an English Literature specialist with a strong academic background in Modernist literature, including dark romance and psychological themes, as well as Victorian literature and its major literary movements. I am also knowledgeable in the psychoanalytic study of novels, exploring characters, themes, symbolism, and the psychological dimensions of literary works. My studies have a strong focus on travel literature and its cultural, social, and historical perspectives. Alongside literature, I teach English to students of different levels, adapting my lessons to their needs and goals.

My teaching approach is practical, interactive, and adapted to each student’s level and goals. I focus strongly on speaking and listening, while developing grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and communication skills through real-life conversations and engaging activities. Lessons can also include English Literature, from Victorian and Modernist literature to travel literature and psychoanalytic approaches to novels. I use my own experience learning English and Spanish as a second language to understand common difficulties and make lessons clear, accessible, and effective.

Professor Omar is a highly educated professor. He helps me a lot to enhance my language and improve myself as an English learner. This is the quality we need to guide us in order to learn fast and also to tell us the mistakes we should avoid. I think he is one of the best teachers I have had the pleasure to attend his courses.
Omar brings English to life through literature, psychology, and even the darker side of romance. His knowledge of Victorian and Modernist literature makes his lessons distinctive, engaging, and far beyond ordinary textbook English.
