À propos de Jan
I am a second-year student at École Polytechnique, majoring in Mathematics and Physics. My studies, together with my previous academic experience, have allowed me to develop a strong and fundamental understanding of many challenging concepts. I also genuinely enjoy helping others and find it rewarding to see students gain confidence in their understanding and problem-solving abilities. I am patient, attentive to each student's needs, and will adapt my approach depending on their level and objectives. Whether you need help with a particular topic, want to prepare for an exam, or simply want to become more confident in solving problems, I will work with you to make steady progress.

I offer Mathematics and Physics lessons for students of different levels and curricula. Having completed the IB Diploma myself, I am particularly familiar with the IB programme, where I achieved a 7 in Mathematics AA HL and Physics HL, as well as Chemistry SL. As a second-year Mathematics and Physics student at École Polytechnique, I focus on genuine understanding rather than simply memorising formulas or methods.
During a typical lesson, we would begin by working through an example problem together. This allows me to identify any gaps in understanding or difficulties in the student's approach. We can then focus on these areas, reviewing the relevant concepts and practising similar problems until the student feels confident applying the method independently.
I am happy to work with students preparing for exams, struggling with specific topics, or simply looking to strengthen their understanding and problem-solving skills. I can teach students following the IB, IGCSE, and other curricula in Mathematics and Physics.
