À propos d'Iona Eunice
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Science in Microbiology, and I am currently pursuing further studies through the Erasmus Mundus TROPIMUNDO programme (Tropical Biodiversity and Ecosystems).
I am from the Philippines, where English has been a core part of the education system since kindergarten. Throughout my academic and professional journey, English has been the primary language I have used for learning, research, and communication.
As a young scientist and researcher, I have written and worked extensively with scientific manuscripts, research papers, and laboratory protocols. One of my strengths is translating complex scientific concepts into clear, simple, and engaging language that is easy for everyone to understand. I believe this skill is just as valuable in teaching English—it allows me to explain concepts logically, patiently, and in a way that builds confidence.
As your English tutor, I will create a supportive, interactive, and enjoyable learning environment where lessons are practical, personalized, and connected to real-life situations. My goal is not only to help you improve your English but also to make every lesson meaningful, engaging, and enjoyable so you can communicate with confidence.

My teaching approach combines scientific thinking with creative, engaging learning to help students build confidence in English naturally. Every lesson is designed to be interactive, practical, and enjoyable rather than focused on memorization.
Lesson Structure:
1. Warm-up conversation or vocabulary review.
2. Introduction of a new topic with clear, easy-to-follow explanations.
3. Guided hands-on practice through interactive exercises and real-life situations.
4. Speaking, listening, reading, or writing activities based on the student's objectives.
5. Personalized feedback and optional exercises for continued improvement.
This lesson is best for beginners to advanced students or professionals who want to improve their English skills. With my degree in Master of Science in Microbiology, I will bring analytical thinking and a structured teaching style in a way that is simplified and away from harsh criticism.
